eMense and Hardwell announce partnership
eSports organization and world-renowned DJ aim to bring dance and gaming closer together
Haarlem/Katowice, February 27, 2017 – eMense, the biggest eSports organisation in the Benelux, and Hardwell have today announced a partnership to bring dance music and gaming closer together. As announced earlier today, the Dutch DJ will open the finals for international gaming tournament Intel Extreme Masters World Championship in Katowice on 5 March. Hardwell will also launch his new social video channel on Twitch here: twitch.tv/hardwell.
Dance producer Hardwell has been declared number 1 DJ in the world two times. He recently unveiled his Madam Tussaud’s wax statue in Amsterdam and introduced his own Facebook Bot. On 5 March during the Counter Strike finals at the world renowned Intel Extreme Masters World Championship in Katowice the DJ will be launching his own live stream platform on Twitch.tv. Hardwell: “As a major game fanatic I’m really excited to go to Katowice and check it out. And of course I can’t wait to go live with my own Twitch channel to share it all with my fans”.

Intel Extreme Masters World Championship in Katowice is the grand finale of the world’s longest standing pro gaming tour. Coming to the Polish city for the 5th consecutive time, the event is set to break last year’s attendance and viewership records once again. In 2016, the spectacle attracted over 113,000 visitors and 34 million unique viewers enjoyed the world class eSports action live and through online broadcast.
Last week eMense Group also announced a collaboration with Dutch pro football club AFC Ajax. eMense facilitates technique, hardware and streaming services for the AJAX eRoom.
