The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, gets Europe’s first dedicated game pop-up store in Amsterdam

Amsterdam, 6 May 2015. BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment have announced today that the game publisher will open a dedicated pop-up store to launch the most anticipated game of this year*, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. The official Witcher store will be launched with a nightly opening to kick off the release of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt with a big bang. The launch will lead into a week full of festivities including exclusive Q&A sessions, live streams and competitions. Located at Kalverstraat 101, Amsterdam from May 19th (midnight) to May 24th, Bandai Namco Entertainment aims to bring the ultimate Witcher experience for everyone to enjoy.

Leading global publisher and developer BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment in partnership with game developer, CD Projekt Red and retail partner, Media Markt will launch Europe’s first single game branded pop-up store in Amsterdam amid much fanfare. This revolutionary project showcases the world’s most anticipated game of 2015 in a remarkable way. Along with a unique photo opportunity with a larger-than-life Geralt of Rivia statue (Witcher’s leading character) visitors can look forward to exciting promotions and to receiving a free copy of Power Unlimited magazine with every game purchase**. During the week there’s a packed daily program with live streams, playing sessions, meet & greets, game journalists etc.

Through the pop-up store, Witcher fans in Europe will also have access to the premium Wild Hunt apparel collection by musterbrand, the premium design and fashion label for gaming culture. Musterbrand showcases a full range of officially licensed Witcher 3 products, from chainmail inspired knitwear to highly exclusive limited edition leather jackets.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt pop-up store will be open for a full week from Monday night (00:01) May 19 to coincide with the release of the game until Sunday May 24th. Entrance is free of charge.
