Battlefield 2042: Update 5.1 & New Seasonal Event Announced

Today, the Battlefield 2042 team announced that Update 5.1 will be available to download next week on all platforms, with a focus on further Quality of Life improvements and changes to enhance player experience in-game.

Additionally, the next Seasonal Event has been confirmed for July, featuring the mysterious Arkangel Legion and a collection of new earnable cosmetics to acquire!

A quick synopsis of the changes incoming include:

• Vault Weapon Attachments – Continuing the additions from the start of Season 5, the M39 EMR and the SVD are receiving All-Out Warfare attachments.
• Squad Spawning Improvements – There will now be a prompt when attempting to spawn on vehicles from the deployment screen, indicating if the vehicle has low remaining health. The ability to spawn on-foot with the CAV-Brawler has been restricted to prevent unnecessary player deaths as well!
